Hey Lady,
I think Bolers, Scamps and other eggs are pretty neat, but if you've seen one you've seen 'em all. I'll bet that the two tin cans drew more attention than any of the others. The eggs don't seem to have the character of canned hams or other trailers from the 60s or earlier. A few years ago (before I discovered "vintage" campers) I was very taken by "TAB" trailers. Clean, easy to maintain...unlikely to have rot issues. But something made me stop and think about it. It is something a'kin to living in a very old house, wondering about and feeling the presence of the previous occupants. Previous occupants and previous owners are not necessarily bad, sometimes they add something of interest to the mix. Yup, and sometimes they screwed it up really bad!

Funny you say that. After touring about 5 of them I was pretty bord. They all looked the same to me. But then maybe that's what they all say about us! Lol
Seriously though the two tin trailers were not only the most interesting they both had big photo albums showing frame up restorations. I was super happy to meet the owners, as I am this far the only one in my region who I know who is doing a proper restore. The one guy seems to know a lot about systems. He was running a 300 watt solar system for off grid. It was great to meet "my tribe of people". This makes me want to go to a USA rally once my trailer is done.

I love egg campers! I was on the search for a boler before I even knew that shasta compacts existed. I guess I should have drove the 30min to ontario to find one. I wonder how bringing one over the boarder works. But I couldn't imagine going to a rally with all of the exact same campers.

The Harley Davidson egg was interesting. He took it out the front window and turned it into a ramp that he can drive his Harley in and out of.,
