Haunting Pintrest tonight I saw a link to a Corvette trailer for sale, went to look at it, but this was first on the page and I had to share. I've never seen anything like it and think it's freaking awesome. You can see all the deets here: www.tininntraveltrailers.com/page/page/2698528.htmNow this is one that would be a bigger for someone like me to restore, but I would love to own it.

I've never seen one of those. Kinda strange to me. Would draw attention at a rally for sure.

Looks to me like it was made from left-overs from other trailers... not very graceful. Sorry.

Well thisis definitely one that gets mixed feelings. I love the quirkiness of it, then I showed my kids the first pic and they both called FOOD TRUCK at the same time. Made me pout and laugh cause that was one of the sellers comments. Kirkadie, it does kinda look like a mashup of leftover parts, but that's the charm to me. I love classic lines and smooth curves like my Westerner, but I dig the strange also. I think that's why I don't like Shasta trailers, they just aren't unique to me. And that comment would start something I'm sure LOL.

The very last trailer that Irvin Perch (originator of Aristocrat Trailers) designed before he died in the early 90s was a "Fold And Roll" trailer. Same type of fold up trailer but his was fiberglass. It was the best design of this type of hard shell folding trailer I have seen to date. Lot's of room for sleeping as it had two full size beds and a very functional bathroom with shower. All electric so no cranking...

Thanks Bruce for posting this. Like Mrs. G, I had a reaction that disagreed with you. But then I went and explored all your links and found it really interesting. I don't know if I would own one, but it would be kind of cool to have if the motor still worked and it could be raised and lowered. It's unique and that's where the attraction is for me. It's quizical that the trailer in the initial post looks so much like the one pictured in the 1971 link in this link. But that one is a Rollite and the other a Corvette. The corvette looks much older with the Hehr windows telling me it's an earlier model than the Rollite in the 1971 link. I think the Corvette in teh initial post is a pop up. Why have that tapered tail end if it's not a pop up, unless it was a way to save on manufacturing costs? There are a decent amount of hard sided pop ups to be found from the 70s and early 80s but, they use hand cranks. Cheers, Rod

On Homer, ad says it's a home built.
Anyone here ever built one from scratch?

Just found this one, not too pretty though! 1971 $1200 NM I hated the '70s!

Don't know what it is, but this one just isn't as cute. Could it be the over cooked pea green toilet in the corner?
There are some colors that never needed to be done and "harvest gold" is one. Now that brings back the 70's.

I thought it was urine yellow to match the um, unmentionables... Oh no, that there is real honest to God Harvest Gold toilet, trust me, the last home my parents built before I moved out on my own had it everywhere. It was "THE" color, and my ever stylish mother just had to have the latest, greatest and best, so Harvest Gold it was, appliances, toilets, sinks, tubs. I cringe to this day every time I see it, this was a huge house and I couldn't avoid it, even the telephone we kids could use was that color. About 10 years after building the place she did a major reno, out went all that color, in came the white. She's never done anything other than white, and now stainless steel appliances since. It's just not a color you can actually live with, whoever came up with it was sadistic, I swear it changed shades depending on where it was at.
