Hmmm, I used Flickr and uploaded photos, hit "share" button on each photo, and copy and pasted the URL in my post. I don't know what happened. Any ideas?

Yay! OK so photos have to be made public and shared from Photostream. I will go back to my previous post and try to edit and put them in the correct way.

Been working on getting things unattached so I can start taking the wrap off. Got all of the screws out of the windows, vents, lights, etc. Been working on the edge molding. My roof is put together with several pieces and there is a ridge down the middle. Can't wait to see what is under there! I think I need to get the twisty nails out of those seams in order to get it off. And it has to be heavy with all of the goop on it! I also need to jack up the front cabinet as the front skin is resting on the frame (tongue of the trailer) and has buckled. The floor is gone in the very front (see previous photos) so I think I can put a board across the frame under the cabinet and make a brace and jack it up enough to get the skin off under the front window. If anyone has a better idea let me know.

I think buying new roof metal would be a good way to go... too much goop to scrape and hours (think days) of work.

I agree on the new roof. But first you need to get the old one off and see what you have to work with. You will be replacing much of the framing and curbing I'm sure. I was looking at your original photos and the paneling looks to me like it's maple. Not birch. They work very well together but not an exact match. You might want to look at some maple when it comes time and see if that is a closer match than birch. That big sag in front means the metal is the only thing holding up the front of the trailer box.

Yes I'm planning on a new roof for sure!! Also, I do hope it is maple as I can not find 1/8" birch anywhere!!! May not be able to find maple either. Who knows!
