I was browsing searchtempest, and came across a couple different craigslist ads. I found this interesting from the standpoint of comparing the two trailers in the ads. They are a few years apart, and have the same layout, one at the tail end of the Original Shasta era, and the other is a year after the beginning of the Coachmen era. (Coachmen bought up Shasta in 1975.) First, 1973 model 1400. The second listing is advertised as a 1976, (striping looks right to me), appears to have the same layout, so I am assuming that it is the extension of the original line into the "new" Shasta era. Maybe no one else would find the interest in the ads, besides the fact there were a couple that were for sale, but as a kinda fan of the old Shastas, just had to share. Here are the locations of the ads: " 1973 Vintage Shasta - $500 (Sayreville) " cnj.craigslist.org/rvs/5353721526.html(Posted on 12/10/15, updated 12/16/15) " Shasta camper - $1800 (Gettysburg) " york.craigslist.org/clt/5331691040.html(Posted 11/25/15 )

Thanks Ten. I'll bet they both have enough Rotsa to make a summer of it...

Thanks Ten. I'll bet they both have enough Rotsa to make a summer of it... Or buy both and start on a new career.

An interesting post. Thanks.
I like to stay with late 50s early 60s Shastas because they have very little framing to begin with which means less rotsa.

..."but as a kinda fan of the old Shastas..." Umm...ahh...come on now Ten! Commit yourself like the rest of us Shasta Lovers! Isn't saying you are kinda a fan, a bit like someone saying I'm kinda pregnant...

I was trying to hide a little.... I have studied them the most, and try to keep learning. But I definitely don't need anything to do with "pregnant"... ... kinda or otherwise!.... Okay, okay.... "My name is Number Ten, and I am a Shasta Addict."
