Wife did a search for, sofa pillows on her cell phone. A page came up that lets her type in the foam size then choose the Upholstery material, pattern and color. Then it gave her a price with free postage. She typed in 4x24x42 and our pillows are $33. each free postage. I can not buy the foam & material, and make them myself for that price, we only need 2 pillows for a 2 seat sofa. Friday we will decide for sure if we still like this color and pattern if so we will type in the debit card number and pillows will be here within 3 weeks.

Can you post a link? And if you do that, I'd definitely like to see pics of what you get! Oh, and be careful. That sounds too good to be true.

Hmm, when I did that one, one bottom cushion for our Compact was $178. Two bottom cushions and two back cushions would be more than $600. I did 5" square corner cushions with cording and mid-range fabric.

When I did it, I got $245 for a bottom cushion the size of my Compact, square, no cording, interior foam, Sunbrella fabric.

Alice found a place that makes foam cushions on her cell phone last week prices were very reasonable $33 each for out cushions. We waited until yesterday to place an order now we can not find the same place. We searched for an hour and found this place is cheapest now the price is $98 for out cushions and postage is not free like the other place was. Price is not good like before so we are going to make our own no sew cushions with carpet pad again.
www.cushionsxpress.com/
I use carpet foam pad to make cushions. Cut it to size then stack it in layers to get the thickness I want. Puke pad is a very dense foam carpet pad you will not bottom out on 4" of foam. The cheaper carpet pad is less dense you might need 5" or 6".
I learned a really cool trick to save lots of time and money. Buy carpet pad at a whole sale store by the roll. Cut the 1/2" thick carpet pad to size with a razor knife. You need 8 layers to make 4" thick cushions. Put a zig zag stream of Elmer's yellow wood glue between each layer. Stack the pieces nice and straight and let them dry 24 hours.
Our cushions all set on plywood so we took advantage of that. Lay the carpet foam on the plywood. Wrap the cloth around the foam then pull it tight over the back side of the plywood and staple the front and back edge of the cloth to the plywood. Fold the ends like a Christmas package pull the cloth tight over the plywood and staple it too. You don't need a sowing machine and you don't have to pay anyone to make cushions. You can do this to the plywood at your kitchen table and your bed too.
Here are photos of a boat and camper that we did this to. I am getting ready to make cushion for my other camper trailer soon. At the moment we are using several sofa cushions I got free on craigslist.
