If this is the wrong place to post, i apologize, just delete it. Just trying to share if someone wants it. There is a gentleman in Ririe, idaho selling this , his name is John Maupin, & it's to be found on a facebook site for selling vehicles under $3k. Hubby & i went to look at it tonight, but it's beyond our desire to fix up. It would HAVE to be a frame off restoration, because of the condition it's in. I thought i'd let you all know about it, since some of you are quite the professionals ~ :-D Here is what we saw ~ serious water damage in the ceiling & in all the corners, floor rot to the point of mushyness, original turquoise stove still in it, original icebox, but the front skin is broken completely off. Countertop is pretty snasty, & could not be used at all~ cupboards are all water damaged. Bed & bunk are in ok shape, no toilet, but looks like there used to be one. Axles have been flipped & has new u bolts, but leaf springs are not refurbished, hitch is quite high. Skins are mostly in good condition, but roof has been completely tarred, & all seams very badly caulked. Trailer & tongue seemed in ok shape. Window glass mostly there, hornets nests in the entrance, sink had both pump & faucet in ok shape. The aluminum skins are in pretty good shape, due to bulging walls, some have come out of their creases/special bend. Never been smoked in, but it's a rot trap. It's a cute compact, but it's in need of SERIOUS work. Also, he was pretty firm on the $500, because that's what he had into it. If anyone is interested, i can give you his number.

Used to be you did not have to pony up $500 for a frame and pattern pieces. This could be a cute camper if the right Member bought it with eyes wide open. Looks like about a 10' box. Many Project campers are like boats. The two happiest days of the owner's life is when s/he buys it and when s/he unloads (sells) it. Unfortunately very rarely do the buying and selling price match. Seller might want to be prepared to adjust the asking price a little for a timely sale, imho.
Thank you for the heads up and good description of what you saw.

Vintagebruce ~ yes, i thought he was asking way too much as well. We offered him $250, but he said he needed $500 out of it. He also thought it was still in usable condition, though! I just don't have this much ambition. :-D
It was indeed a 10' box, with a 3' tongue.
My husband calls boats a hole in the water that you just keep dumping money into ~ :-D (he grew up in Alaska, as a commercial fisherman's son.)
