Had these for several years and did not look right on the Boler so now am wondering what were they used on? Glass lenses, KD-540 on the lens, cloth wiring cut short but in incredible condition. I have seen them on the net in orange and available with plastic lenses.

If they are similar to the lights in this ad, they are called clearance lights in the ad. I believe they are used for side and top clearance lighting. And some use them to dress up their campers just like big rig 18-wheelers that have them all along the sides and roof of their trucks. They are also called teardrop lights (meaning shape of the lens). cincinnati.craigslist.org/rvs/5055996671.html

I believe they were used on Spartans and Spartanettes. Very cool lights. It may be difficult to get the pigtail to fit the socket. What are you planning on using them on?

Thanks for the insight. Over the years I have collected what I thought were odd looking lights and this was another pair. I suspect that one would be able to either update the socket or desolder the wire and add some length. At this point I have no use for them as I do not have a trailer to use them on. I also have these although probably not vintage trailer specific. Unlike the KD`s the lenses are plastic but the rest is metal.
