First warm day since I bought my camper. So I tore into it. Armed with knowledge acquired from watching mobiltec's videos and reading on here I made a pretty good dent in the skin removal. Left lower rear panel removed. Found some rot here but not more than I expected. Rear panel and baggage door removed. Floor is really rotten back here. PO tried to removed the floor from inside and made one heck of a mess. More to come.

Cool trailer1 (And not just because it's cold where you are!) We love the little "bustle" in the back! Welcome!

Had a few minutes to work on the trailer tonight. Removed about half of the street side J rail and a few windows and vents. Hoping to get the last two lower pieces off this side next time Sorry the picture sucks. It got dark on me At some point in the trailer's life somebody used that black roof sealant (I am quickly learning to dispise that stuff) they let it drip over into the J rail so removing the screws involved a lot of scraping, cussing, and three battery changes on my drill.

Hang in there CW Cam, par for the course. I'd be out there after dark too. You are going to learn a lot and WANT ANOTHER TRAILER or two or three....

The weather wasn't too nice here tonight so I worked inside on the bathroom window. Before: someone had painted the window frame at some point After: got the paint off with some paint stripper, scrubbed it down with soapy water and some steel wool then polished it up on a bench top buffer. I am very happy with the results.

I agree, trailer looks OK under that roof...
This is one of THE best pictures stories I've seen. So much fun to be part of it. Thanks.
