I thought I would resurrect this just to say that I drove past the trailer yesterday and now that the snow is gone I see the trailer is sitting flat on the ground. It looks like there is no undercarriage at all or else it's been sitting there so long it is sinking into the ground. I'm not interested. Jim Not interested in what? Not making money? Not helping another trailerite, in finding and restoring another rare trailer? It might just have the axle, or wheels removed. You would laugh at some of the things I have dug out of the ground. One time, I dug a rare VW "Barn Door" bus out of the sand, buried in the Palm Springs desert. We never could get it completely unstuck from it years of sitting, so we cut it up, took the good sheet metal, and left only the frame.
As nice as that trailer looks, and the nice houses that it's parked next too, my guess it's not for sale, and is parked at a "vintage trailer" guys house.

It is fairly easy to get a set of wheels under a camper. especially if there were wheels under it to begin with. That us a collectible camper. If you are not interested, let the Membership know where it is so one of us can score it and either get a great camper or make a bundle of money restoring and selling it.

Next time I am over that way I will stop and check on the availability of it. If the owner wants to let it go, I will let the forum know.

Ben, I have missed two of them. One because the seller backed out. And the second one, because I could not find the rear door. They are a very distinctive trailer, but people would likely still ask, IS THAT AN AIRSTREAM?

Ben, The windows I saw, had two different kinds of regulators on the two trailers I looked at. When your doing rare, and old, trailers like this, PARTS are your friends.
A friend of mine is currently welding four rear Spartan window "top frames" together, just to make two good useable "none rusted" rear windows. I see nothing wrong with parting one, to make one good one.
Good luck
