Tim Heintz's photos show a system he created to make his huge awning sit perfectly. It can be adapted to any size awning. He got the poles from Home depot in the closet section.
1 The awning sitting in the rail.
2. The upright poles he made to go through the grommet holes.
3. The horizontal stabilizer poles
4. Now put the upright poles into the grommet holes. Note the hook.. for attaching the horizontal poles.
5. Now attach the Horizontal poles.
6. The end result .. A beautifully supported, vintage canopy
