I am almost ready to glue my tiles in place, does anyone have a recommendation for a good glue? I went to Lowes today and they had some Commercial VCT adhesive, will that be OK, or is there something a lot better? thanks

That's the stuff I used....had to buy a large can which seemed a bit wasteful. Make sure the get the right notch trowel to use and wait for it to dry clear before adhering the tiles.

Use the tile manufacturer's adhesive if you can, and as stated above make sure you use the right size trowel. They are not all the same. Too much adhesive is very bad and dimples will show up in the tiles from small point loads even with very little weight. Follow the adhesive directions exactly.

thanks, I think i got the right trowel, (the small notched one) it has 1/16 long point with 1/32 groove or something like that.

Trowel size depends on the adhesive.

Trowel size depends on the adhesive. yeah, the adhesive had the reccomended trowel size on the side, the numbers didnt exactly transfer over to their trowels, the numbers were in a little different order??? but should work, here are pics

That is the adhesive I used also. Strong stuff. If I would have known I could have sent you the 2/3's of a tub I have left over. It comes in two sizes, too much, and way, way too much. :-)
