I'm looking for someone within a few hundred miles of Page Arizona near Lake Powell for a commercial photo shoot that will pay all expenses plus a very nice rental fee for your 50s or 60s completed Vintage Trailer. All you have to do is show up with your trailer and set it up. It's gotta be a nice one. They are also looking for a 50s or 60s convertible vehicle for the shoot. A matched set would be perfect.
The shoot will commence on September 11th and continue to the 13th.
PM me if you and your trailer can be available for the shoot. I will need photos of your trailer, inside and out. Also the vehicle if you have one. If you don't and they pick your trailer they will find another vehicle for the shoot. That's the other thing we need for the shoot is a 60s car like a Dodge Dart or a Corvair with a rag top. Same dates.

We sold the Compact, the Airflyte isn't ready, and my friend's Corvair (white on blue, matched the Compact) is a Lakewood, the wagon.
Too bad, there's great trout fishing in the tail water below the dam (Lee's Ferry).

Hi Larry, You might want to look at my friends 1961 Shasta SC. His blogspot is 61shasta.blogspot.com. He has just finished the restoration rehab. He and his wife will be on vacation in the White Mountains for 2 weeks but I,m not sure of the dates. Howard also lives in Tucson across town from me. I am scrambling to get my 59 ready for Spooktacular 2014 at Catalina State Park north of Tucson October 23 - 26. It will be not be finished, but it will be campable. I am re-building the right side, the rear, and the front. Will also be rebuilding the the door, the cargo doors, the front window and one rear side window. I need to start taking pictures and learn how to get them posted. If you want Howards phone number let me know. Hope your eye is healing, you have been in our prayers.

They offered me $6000 for the shoot using the Deville but I told them I don't own that any longer and I contacted the owner to see if she wanted the job but she is busy during that time and she's not really motivated by money.

That's the White Mountains in Arizona. I think they will be about 150 miles south of Page. Howard's wife wasn't to keen on the idea. I don't think she is motivated by money either.

You need to find photo shoots that are close to we people who, through necessity, have to be motivated by money.

They call me and ask for trailers and I put the word out. They saw my Deville and fell in love with it right away but I don't own it any longer so I have no say so and the owner doesn't need the money.

LOL I happen to agree with you though. The last one was up in Lone Pine where all the movie westerns were filmed. That one paid $1500 for the use of the trailer in a static condition for 2 or 3 days and all expenses including motel and food. But shazayyyymmmm... $6k for a 5 day trip. Makes me want to keep a finished one around for such occasions. LOL...
