Next it was time to build a triangulated four link for it. I need alot of travel to make sure the trailer sits on the ground, but will raise high enough to drive it safely.

Then, after getting the right size bags, and plumbing everything up to my van, we have a Slammed Ham.

And to match the front of the Econoline, I used an extra set of headlight bezels to match.

Oh, the horrors! Just kidding. I was thinking the same thing as Poncho, better chopped than rotting in a junk yard. Your thread with the pics is really great. I applaud your creativity and skills. And I gotta' say, I really got a kick out of the headlight tail lights. Made me smile! Nice job!

My kids love it, and it have become a jungle gym while we are at the car shows. The Hearse is a little creepy.

It says the video is private. Sorry about that. I fixed the video. Pretty cool. Can't wait to see them when they are all finished. Are you going to do a matching paint scheme on the duet?

I am enjoying driving them, and I have another project that just came out of the paint shop, so I am going to finish that one before I think about painting this one.

hi slammedham I just joined this forum did a search found your trailer.. I own a 1956 Mercury that I'm in the process of rebuilding & toughing up the frame ,I will pull with a 55 chevy wondered about match the height between car and trailer , I've bought a set of 55 nomad rear springs ,car has 2" lowering blocks now . So I can configure quite a few heights.. After reading your build (bags) yet another option to match heights...Thanks much I will follow your threads until I figure how to friend you Thanks again for the bag idea quigley

Dude, That is sooooooo very cool! What a great vision! I would love to have your skillset to make something like this all happen. What a totally rockin project! Nice cascade of pix too. I have always loved those old models of the Ford Econolines. I remember seeing those when i grew up and thought they were kind of cool. I can't wait to see it when it's all painted. Team drink! Keep it up. Rod BTW, I sent you a PM
