cobb1 Looks like you have a 1956 Shasta 1500, produced in Van Nuys California.

Trying to figure out year. Guessing between 68-74 just a guess. Vin# is V24938. That I found on tag on the tongue drivers side. There are some numbers stamped on the curb side but there partially covered by a sway bar mount. Any info at all would be great. Thank you

The “V” says that it was built in Goshen, IN. Ross will likely get to your post eventually and tell the year it was manufactured.

Hello we have what we believe is a 1975 Shasta RL2050. I got the date off the back of the mirror it said Lenoir Mirror 7/15/75. I have scraped the tongue of the trailer and got a partial vin, the rest was not legiable(the tongue is very rust pitted). I was hoping Ross could help me fill in the blanks? I know the first letter was a A and the last four digits are 5235. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ronnie from Georgia.

astrokip The Leola Pennsylvania plant didn't open until early 1963 and the vins were only 4 digits long. This being said, looks like you Shasta Astrodome was produced in mid 1968. jenjen Based on your Shasta's vin, it was produced in 1977. Sending a PM, as well. kendall Your Shasta Airflyte was produced in 1968. rgsellersjr Small world....I have been buying mirrors and glass from Lenoir Mirror, a little over 15 years or so, for my company. Being that Coachmen didn't acquire Shasta Industries until 1976, your Shasta RL2050 was one of the first produced by Coachmen.

Hello! My wife and I recently purchased a '72 Shasta (not sure of the model). We have a similar vin from a post back in 2013. Our vin is stamped on the appropriate areas: tongue wall (curbside) and inside of tongue (driver's side).
Our vin reads: AC1255
We are a bit skeptical, however, thecamper came with a nameplate that displays Apple Creek, Ohio, as the manufactured by location.
I can't upload photos but any guidance would be awesome! Thanks

I picked up a Shasta compact awhile back and dove into a full restoration. I did not get a title with it so I need to figure out what year it is so I can get it titled and registered. This process is proving harder than I expected lol HELP
