Hello Everybody, I am wondering if anyone can tell me what size wings my Shasta had? I am sure there is a thread on it and I tried searching but just could not find it. So I have decided she is getting her wings this spring, I just need to pick if I am going to pay the premium for originals or get the repros but either way it is happening so if you could help me out I would appreciate it. The Shasta says 66 under the sink but the title says 1967, it is just a tad over 13 feet with the tongue. Thanks everyone!

That above list is pretty comprehensive, but it does raise some questions to me...such as, I had thought the only models that had the 25" wings had been the early 16SCS, with the door behind the axle. Also the '68 and '69 Compacts were nearly identical body styles, so unless it was one of those "factory quirks", I have no idea why they originally would have had different size wings. I am also confused about the model you have, mntrailer66. I would generally say "Compact" to one that measures 13' with the tongue, but your photo in the avatar appears to be a 1500. Either way, for the 1966 model, I would GUESS (only a W-A-G, mind you...) either the Compact or 1500 probably would have had the 27" X 7" wings. I unabashedly gotta point you to Tyler's wings, for your consideration. (Link below.) They may seem expensive, but knowing the research he put in and the customer satisfaction, it is well worth considering. By the time you wait out a decent pair on ebay and pay the big bucks for a rust-stained, and possibly dented pair of originals, you could have a brand new set fabricated. Just my opinion.

Thank you for your responses and the links, they were both very helpful! I was guessing at the length because the Shasta is still in storage and I am to lazy to go out there. I thought it was 13+ but the husband said 14+ of course I was convinced I was right but I may have been wrong (do not ever tell him I said that) but regardless I decided I would go with the 7/27" . The husband has worked in sheetmetal for 30+ years and has been saying he would make me wings for years but it is last on a long to do list and never seems to get done so maybe if I showed him that price list and how much I am willing to pay may light a fire under him. Thanks again for the help!

The dimensions given in the above posts for the wings on 1963 & '64, (and possibly '65) model 16 SCS are incorrect. They are 8" x 30" x 1 3/8"
