So I won't have a camper to stay in, but is it ok for people to come to the campground a visit the rallies? I mean do people typically have an "open house" type thing. I'd sure like to take a look at some of these campers up close, never seen one redone, only pics.

I'm not sure either...is that like going to a playground without any children?

Most campgrounds allow campers to have visitors for a day fee. It would depend on the campground and who was sponsoring the rally.

Playground... yes I guess you're right. I would think of it more like going to an art museum.
So they don't have events where the public can see/look at the campers, you have to own one to be allowed to see them?

Hi, From a vintage trailer guy located in Santa Ana, CA. It's good to see lots of activity here.

Every west coast vintage trailer rally "that I have attended" has had an Open House on Saturday. The hours are normally something like 10AM to 2PM. At Pismo, they even have the local TV station out and doing stories about the vintage trailer's which in turn brings more people out. It's crazy busy on Saturday with lots of questions and interest. They also have a swap meet for trailer parts that's usually Saturday morning.
I'd be surprised if it's not done in other areas also.
