I'm not sure if this works, but when everything else is said and done, this is the ONE thing I'd love to use that requires propane/electric in the camper:

I would take the glass globe off and pack it away during the rebuild so that it doesn't get broke. new ones are getting hard to come by. In fact it wouldn't hurt to store the entire light.

Now, THERE ^ ^ is a great "glamper" idea!...THAT is why this works!
There is a fine line between insanity and genius....

Hmmm ... I can't decide which would be better - the wall mounted blender or the wall mounted propane lamp ... lol

Blender, schmender. Just turn the flame down low, and use a shaker. Unless you prefer stirred, not shaken.

PO had removed the gas light in favor of an electric clock. The gas line was still there just capped off. Well...I had to have a gas light and the boss wanted to keep the clock, so I ran a new gas line and installed a new gas light. I love the gas light. I use it when it's a little cold just to take the edge off in the camper while either working or thinking / relaxing!

Paxton, Thanks for posting that link for the conversion. I have added it to my quickly filling restoration tips file. NICE work! Where did you put the switch? Cheers Rod

I'd be curious to know how many people die in fiery explosions "caused by propane lamp fires" each year in travel trailers?
Seems to me that "they do require some common sense", and as the saying goes, YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID".

Cheers Rod sorry for the delay in response. Just took a year..... I wired into the rest of the lights that I installed and put a switch by the front door.

"Guess" I have a "unrealistic fear" of "open flames" inside a "wood box".
