mel When will I learn. I had planned on purchasing my foam a few months ago, but then I started working full time and couldn't get to the foam factory because they are not open on weekends. I sure wish I had looked back at this thread. I was so excited to be able to get over there I didn't take enough time to revisit all the options on the website and the info on this thread. I guess I'm overly concerned about feeling the plywood board under soft foam, come's from my freeflow waterbed days. I also bought the 4" Lux - R. I sat on the small cushion size sample in combination with a latex topper and also tried the 3" Lux -R with a memory foam topper. After I got the foam home and laid on the Lux, I realized that it is pretty firm, too much so for me. Luckily I also bought a 2" latex topper. Although it's a bit more $$ the person that was helping us said it's much cooler and moisture resistant, it's also a little firmer than memory foam. I checked the difference between the 2" and 3" topper and didn't feel there was enough change to warrant the extra cash. 4" Lux R with 2" Latex topper by Corvett crzy, on Flickr It's a hard choice. The poly foam is much softer but it's not going to hold up as long. I would also suggest to anyone who might use this manufacturer that you not consider the Lux HQ (or higher quality) as that is VERY firm and really should only be used on seating that you would be using daily. Hopefully the Lux and Latex combo will be fairly comfortable, If I could redo, I might be more apt to get the 3".
