Yes, Rod, I have seen that before. Didn't bother asking our restorer to do it, and he didn't ask. Wonder if I could just use a spray bomb, tape off the top of the tank and do that myself. Or would the surface need a lot of prep?
Glad you enjoyed the thread. I'm sorry it took me so long to complete it. But at least I did, eventually. I've come across a lot of introduction posts that die out immediately, often without even a first photo. Wonder where all those people go...

GM called it Ocean Mist in 1966. I just call it turquoise. Funny, on the car I've always thought of it as more green than blue. But our trailer restorer referred to it as blue. In the eye of the beholder, I guess.
