I recently heard from a flipper who asked what I had for sale. I've had several mails from him and often don't get a response. I mentioned that I had one trailer left, it was full of parts.
Here's the email:
I've got one trailer left for sale. I plan on selling it with the extra parts. That would be stoves, iceboxes, sinks, windows, trim, doors, etc. It's a 68 Starflyte and tows fairly well. Let me know if you might be interested and thanks
so is it all to gather. Or torn apart What tear. How long. Any pics. And how much$
The trailer is intact. It's full of parts as I said. It's not quite ready to go and I need to put more parts in. 17 feet. $----
Hi looks ok. So I’m confused. Parts ? So it’s gutted inside ? If I buy it I don’t want any extra parts ? Or they need to be put in ? Um pics of inside ? Any water damage. Floors good ?
It's loaded with vintage trailer parts. (windows, doors, stoves and hoods, iceboxes, sinks, trim, etc) They are in the trailer. It is not gutted. Yes, water damage. Floor is OK; a little iffy by the door. I don't have pix of the inside right now. Must take the parts with. I plan to advertise it this spring.
This is what arrived this morning:
Ok so cushions are there ? Everything is complete. Where is the rot. (Pics ) all 4 corners inside ? I’m sorry but need more info. ( yes water damage ) ? I have restored and sold over 300 vintage trailers so I know my schitt! (edit to show the word he used) Please be up front Rot is the biggest concern. Thanks
I haven't answered the above and don't plan to. Yes, it has water damage and it's FULL OF PARTS. How am I supposed to get photos of the 4 corners? Yes, there's rot. This guy has been patching trailers for a few years, and I seriously doubt he's EVER done a restoration. Typical. I was NOT happy with his choice of words. And he contacted ME. I just told him what I have...
