Here's a very old video from way back when people used to give me trailers just to get them off the property. This is shortly after I began the 58 Deville project on You Tube. Back then there were no ads being shown on my channel so I was just doing it for the fun of it and because I wanted to help people. Enjoy the nostalgia.

"...give me trailers just to get them off the property."
I got into this hobby back in 2012. The Canned Ham Freebee Party was over by then.

I think I got Scotty about 5 years ago, out of a corn field, and the owner was surprised anybody would ask "how much do you want for it?" I paid him twice what he answered if he would pull it out of the field and pull the wheels so I could put tires on it to haul it home. $200 was a giveaway price to me because I had a naive idea of what was to come.. but I will say that being a small part of VTT has been worth every penny of that $200.

Here's another one from way back when rallies were just for the participants and not a public spectical. I sure enjoyed the old rallies.

I like your Westerner. Was that a free/close to free camper? What year did you buy it?

Dang I don't remember the exact year.. It was before the 58 Deville. I paid $300 for that one. It had a lot of history. Charles Manson spent many afternoons in that trailer drinking soda and talking to the trailer owner who I bought it from. This trailer was located very near to where the Manson Family was captured and everyone out there in the desert knew these people. None of them trusted those people either.
