Thanks whitney, I'll check that this weekend.
As for front wall, im planning on getting. 030 in a 35 foot length to do a one piece front, roof, rear.
Regarding the cost of using flashing i figured it would end up in the neighborhood of $1 per square foot, probably a little higher for the thicker flashing (i did find 021, close enough)
The surplus siding seems to be closer to $5 and new is even more. Then add shipping.
Im thinking i might try to make a press brake out of wood to get the start of the s lock. I might try a proof of concept experiment with scrap i have laying around. Advantage of the press brake is unlimited length and throat.

My plans are to re-use the siding on my '67 Compact, however, the bottom is boogered up from "repairs" by PO's (7" pole barn nails through the skirt board with a washer attached to the head then to ensure it didn't come out, they bent over 4" of it under the trailer).
My plans are to make an S-lock about a foot up from the bottom at one of the creases and remake the lower section including the auto mold. I've got access to some metal breaks...
