Can anyone verify if this is a 62 Fleetwood? I've never worked on one....

Not saying it's not a Fleetwood but here is a '62 Fleetwood Mallard, and it is not toaster shaped. Neither were the earlier small Fleetwoods that have pics online. But apparently, Fleetwood made trailers under different names. My first home was a Fleetwood www.rvmhhalloffame.org/newimages/1962Mallard.jpg

The paint scheme on the side makes me think "Arrow".

Love the pattern in the door skin and the overall shape of the camper. It's pretty cool isn't it?!

That sideways sunburst pattern on the door is the same as the front rock guards that I've put on a couple of my trailers. I'm going to do a video on the next one. The trailer looks a lot like a small Field & Stream I worked on once. But he says it's a "Fleetwood"... Don't know yet if that is from the title or what he was just told by the PO.

Here's a 1960 Field and Stream. *Ding*, I think we've got a match. I remembered seeing one like that on ebay several months ago. just couldn't remember what it was!

SuzieQ that's just like a little one I worked on for a bit. This one is a little longer but same design right down to the door skin.
SO...... I think you are right.
It has a Fleat Wood tag on it which is what is making him think it's a Fleetwood. Or does that say (FLEATZ WOOD?) I wonder if that tag is the name of a company who sold trailers... Most likely is....

I think you are correct that is a RV dealer tag. I would guess it's Fleatzwood and nothing comes up in a Google search. Also, look at the screws, it has hex screws and the DOH tag has rusty panheads. If those screws don't match any others, I'd say it's a sure thing that it was added after market.

You are great at research. These are the kind of things that make you go hmmmm.....

I think the real ringer in the match is the shape of the front where that little curvy bend comes down. I would say door, but doors can be swapped out and that one looks like it has had some repair. But the shape is definitely a Field and Stream. Unless.... they are like washing machines.. haha!

They are like washing machines. The Nomads and Jewels have the same undercurve in the front. A lot of the manufacturers copied each others shapes and mixed and matched them. Even Shasta's wings were used by a few other companies until they were sued by Shasta to stop. Serro Scotty for one. They stole everyone's ideas and mixed them all up in one trailer LOL.

I knew one year of Serro Scotty had wings, briefly. And a lot of interiors look like carbon copies of Compacts but there's always something in the craftsmanship that gives it away if you look closely.
The arrow looking pattern could be a clue, but honestly, there's not a lot of vintage Field and Streams out there to compare it to.

There is a post elsewhere in this forum with a link to a Field and Stream Facebook page. Here is a 62 from there:
