That video is awesome. That's the kind of build I want to do next, one more time, when my girls are a bit older and will appreciate their contributions. Is the creator a member here? He may be but if he is I forgot what screen name he went by. His hobby is collecting vinyl records and old tapes. He visited my place on vacation with the trailer and spent a few days with his whole family. That was a lot of fun.

We went from demolishing down to bare frame to camping in 9 months. We only kept the frame/axle and the windows, everything else was new material (not a restoration). This was working evenings and weekends. I think the only way we could have done it faster was to not have full-time jobs, and have an interior work space (we lost some days to rain, it was one of the wettest years on record).

I am just at the 2 year mark...and I am almost there!!! Nice job! Rewarding, isn't it?
Warning: Now you're going to suffer withdrawals. You'll start searching for another one within a month or two.

Odd man out......... I'm on year 5 going on 6. Frame off rebuild. I've been in the home stretch for the last couple years and life has taken over. Just an example of keep plugging along and it will happen. I have enjoyed every step of the way!

So much other stuff that needs to be completed but have neglected, because this trailer does it's-finish me now calling,I've lost(somewhat)track of time and dollars spent which really doesn't bother me at all as nearing completion. The 1300 mi shipping from Hemet, about a 1/16 the cost of all new materials which doesn't seem bad in the least,,, mark

I truly envy you folks that have a building to work in. I have been trying to find a space to rent or borrow. Once I have the space I plan to be done in as short about of time as possible. So I am gathering all the materials I am going to need to make this go as fast as possible once I find a space to work in this winter.

The downside is obviously the cold. Cold=not fun.

I bought on Mothers day this year. I have her down to trailer frame right now. I work by myself (i have gotten some help from husband, but only if I pester and beg and if it's something I cannot do alone) but have a busy schedule and I am only able to work in small increments. My plan was to get everything down so I can work inside during the fall and winter months. I hope to get enough done that I can start rebuilding by spring. And want her campable by late summer 2020.
