Hi New to vtt. Have a 1961 Hi Lo built in Butler, Ohio by the Snyder family that Im just beginning to restore. Anyone else working on an old Hi Lo?

I agree with vikx. Have always been intrigued by them. Still haven't been around one enough to figure out how they seal when open and closed, and how the top portion of the interior keeps from getting wet and dirty when traveling. My niece (who was little at the time) and I were driving down the interstate when we came across one in transit. She inquired about why it was so short. Didn't take long for me to have her convinced it was designed for midgets (no offence to anyone). She argued that there was no way, so I played on her guilt with my final question to her "So, your saying short people don't like to go camping?" She agreed and relented (also had her convinced we cut her tail off when she was a baby too though. ) She still brings this up occasionally. Sorry, didn't mean to de-rail your thread...

I had never heard of one until i saw it on fb marketplace. I called the guy immediately and said im on my way. I don't know how to navigate this forum yet. I want to include photos as I tear it apart but don't know how yet. I'm in tbe garage now removing the skin from the upper portion.

If somebody would explain to me how to lost photos I'd really appreciate it. You can upload them to imgur.com and use the links in the image post. Personally I find it easiest to use the Tapatalk app, it let's you post photos directly hosted on their servers.
