Thank you very much. I will take some close up pictures and post them here with what I find.

Welting is common in most vintage trailers. It is put on the walls before the ceiling panels go on and can not be added later. Thus, some folks use wood trim to cover the imperfections that welting would have covered up...
The drawers look to be a different wood to me, so I thought perhaps replaced.

If there's any other things you'd like to see pictures of, please let me know.

Unrelated, but is there a way to get email notifications when a new post is made to my threads? Thanks.

I've never seen concave welting like that for sale, mine had the round type readily available from VTS. That is a great little trailer!! When I first saw the drawers I was convinced they were in upside down, but now seeing Tens pics, huh?
Great trailer, lots of info here, suggest searching for the topic you're working in, it will take you to a thread that discusses that very topic. Then if you ask your questions there, people who are knowledgable will see it as a new post and respond. Just a suggestion.
Most important - have fun!

One of the sections within it has options to choose about notifications (how often). I get notifications once a day on bookmarked threads. There are lots of options to choose from.

I was just curious as to a guesstimate as to what this camper would weigh? I'm sure I could find a scale somewhere next spring but it's nothing important, just a curiousity thing.

If the walls are 3/4" framing, my bet would be 1800 pounds. 1 1/2" framing, 2500 pounds.

Thank you. 700lbs difference in the framing alone? Wow!

Thank you. 700lbs difference in the framing alone? Wow! We have a 15' 1962 Forester with 1 1/2" walls and a slightly heavier than usual metal frame to handle the extra weight. I took it to the scale dry and empty: 2500 pounds.
We have a 1959 Shasta Airflyte about the same length, 3/4" framing and slightly lighter metal frame (but still solid) that weighs 1800 pounds.
I've also owned a 1963 Shasta 1500 which is 6'6" wide instead of 7': 1600 pounds
And a 10' 1962 Shasta Compact also 6'6" wide: 1100 pounds
If you load it with everything to go camping I'd add another 400-500 pounds on top of the camper weight.

Agree with Vikx. Some of the paneling has been covered over with new and they used cove molding to keep the edges up. That's because you can't successfuly replace paneling from the inside. You must remove the metal skin and then framing in order to replace any paneling in the wrap. (ceiling, front and rear wall). You must remove parts of the wrap completely in order to replace any wall panels also.

I borrowed some portable scales and weighed my camper last night. 2008 lbs. In the neighborhood of what I was thinking.
