I know the rear bumper is not original but I kind of like it any way. Period correct modification no doubt.

I didn't know that I had the pictures locked where you could not view them so I changed the settings. Hopefully it is all good now.

I like the shape and the skin looks in pretty good condition. The interior may have been redone from the inside, judging from the lack of welting and new drawers? It's a good candidate for more, that's for sure and looks to be roadworthy. The bumper has to go...

What is welting and why do you think the drawers may have been replaced? Thanks

Hello and Welcome, Thats a really nice trailer you got there. That plug is obsolete. You should replace it. The drawers are probably a Pathfinder thing because I found some images online with other Pathfinders like this one. 1961 Pathfinder Restored by www.HeintzDesigns.com by Heintz Designs Vintage Trailer Restorations, on Flickr The welting is used at junctions of the paneling or between cabinets and paneling. It's like a gasket. it looks like this before installation. The flat part gets stapled to a cabinet edge or paneling edge. It reduces the chances of squeaking when you get wood on wood rubbing against each other. This can happen when you walk around the trailer. Your weight alone will put a wee bit o stress on those intersections. If the welting is there, then you don't have wood on wood contact. It looks like a tube or piping that runs along the seam of two panels. Notice over to the right edge of the cabinet, you will see a white strip going from top to bottom of the cabinet edge. That's what the welting looks like when installed. It's old and deteriorating and in this case and falling out. Here is what it looks like when exposed. The welting has a tab on it that gets stapled to the cabinet edge. It's the white strip falling off on the right and top corner of the cabinet edge in the photo below. Also, if you click on the top photo in my post, and then click on it again once it opens in Flickr to enlarge it, you can see the same kind of concave corner round that you see in your trailer along the edges. Makes me think that the corner round was a Pathfinder thing. I could be wrong though. Just a guess. Cheers, Rod
