I've never heard of them but I'm betting someone here has. Looks like it's got some front metal sag just above the tongue and that usually means lots of rot in front. There will be a lot of work to do to this trailer to make it safe on the road. You're going to have to start by removing metal skin and looking to see how much rot is under there. All of it must be removed and replaced. For a project trailer of this vintage it's not worth $2000 in my opinion. Maybe $500....

I tend to agree on the price. It's a little "new" to bring much money. It also doesn't look like it's been stored inside for all those years. Maybe most of the time, but it's been outside too. I'm certainly not trying to bring it down. Have him advertise on Craigslist and see what the traffic will bear...

Hi! I own a 1969 Open Road and I’m thrilled to see your post and pics! I thought mine was the only one left on the entire planet! Lol We paid $2,500 for ours a couple of years ago. She had new paint inside & out and everything is in good working condition. She’s not perfect but we are having fun working on her. Right now, we’re stripping paint from the inside window trim. The trim is so beautiful unpainted and polished up. I’m curious if you bought the trailer? 😃 Forgot to add, Open Road is the manufacturer. I have the original owners manual if you want a copy.

That trailer has definitely been outside a lot some time in it's life. after siting that long all seams around windows, doors, vents, ect. will have to be cleaned and resealed. This will require removal and replacement. If this isn't done you will start to have leaks that will cause the wooden frame work to rot even if it isn't already. Maybe it has sat inside all these years because it was leaking and the owner just forgot. Also is this for sale because the spouse passed away, if so the wife may not even know it had a problem. If the inside is like new and you are able to do a rebuild and you really like it then the price is up to you. But buy it knowing that it might turn unto a very big project that could take years to complete depending on your talents.
