Today we finally got the Formica on the sink and countertop! Exciting! It’s coming together!!!need to order the metal trim for the countertops now and not sure where to get those from!!! Last pic just has a sample of our backsplash. Husband likes the copper color but not sure if he wants to use it yet or not.

Home Depot has a good selection on-line have it shipped to your door. I got several different trims from them. It comes in a tube and shipping was not bad or you can have it shipped to the closest store with no shipping charge. The closest store to me is an hour away so I had it shipped to my house. Aluminum moulding or trim is what you put in the search bar. Debra

I like the red formica! Where did you get it? Thanks....but Believe it or not, it’s actually Peach in color. Pics don’t really show it. Colors were chosen by previous owner but we really like it. Plus our last name is Pietsch, pronounced Peach!

I like the red formica! Where did you get it? She said she got it at Home Depot or Lowe’s and ordered it and was delivered to the store in a large roll. Hope that helps! It had a little pattern in the color too. So vintage!!!

We got the old jrail cleaned up and put on. Had about 8” gap that the old jrail didn’t cover either we r missing a piece or we will have to use new jrail to fill in The puddy tape was a pain! The tape backing wouldn’t just peel off...it came off in itty bitty pieces. So odd. Was a pain. And my poor husband had to conquer this job ALONE! On to windows today. Will clean up the jrail puddy later. Can’t upload pics right now.

Hi Erin, I believe you can freeze the putty tape and then take it out of the freezer when it's time to apply and then it will peal off more easily. You might also have had old stock or it was summer heat. Rod

July 23, 2019 Well, so far I polished the eyebrows this AM & continued to work on painting the icebox. For some reason every time I get done painting l, there’s 3-4 spots that have raised/rough spots and look like they’re magnetic or collecting debris! So annoying! I’m so frustrated. Then the enamel coat spray bottle isn’t working! 🙄🙄🙄it’s not that hot this AM, only 96°, but the humidity is up there for AZ! Husband got the running lights working and brake lights. Back splash isn’t working for us, so I called a sheet metal place and they’ll callback with an estimate. I don’t like either one of the backsplash options...

June 23, 2019 Got back out in the heat again today and decided to acid wash the skin and polish it as much as I could. We aren’t gonna paint her cause we can’t afford it. I did as much as I could but I KNOW I really should start at the top, not the bottom...but I can’t reach up high due to my spinal surgeries (have had 6 spinal tumors removed) so I know I’ll have to retouch this afterwards. Seems like it’s so close to completion yet SO FAR! Ten days til our big maiden voyage! Top pic before bottom after. BEFORE AFTER
