I am getting ready to order a new fresh water tank for my 54 terry. I am planning to use a vented filler. I am trying to figure out my layout. I am planning to place an opening high on the side for the filler. One opening low on the front that will go to the pump for water outlet. My main question is where and how people are placing their drains. All drain fittings I have seen appear to be mounted low on the side and then appear like I will attach Tubing through the floor and twist open to drain out Does anyone know of a drain I can mount to the underside of the floor and running tubing through to an opening on the bottom of the tank to better drain all of the water. I am looking for what others have done. Thanks.

Many tanks do not have bottom drains; they come with low holes on the corners instead. I've done both type of drains usually with 1/2 inch tubing from the tank fitting thru the floor with a male hose thread fitting under the trailer. That allows for a hose cap to stop the water. A hose shut off works as well.
I'm curious why you are mounting the fill so high? You will have to run fill hose all the way down to the tank; easier to mount the fill close to the tank.

I meant the fitting on the tank for the fill will be on the high side of the tank but low on the trailer in its original position.
