My local glass guy makes them for me. 4"x 3/16" x length needed. Sanded edges and all. $10. And to top it all off, he comes to me and does my cutting in my shop. I always tip him good.

Local, independent shop shot me a price of $50 for all 8 smoothed edges and all. I like my small town country livin' lol I have the tools and experience to do it myself, but for $50? I'll do my part to keep the economy going.

I had only one broken Jalousie pane on my Shasta Airflyte... took it to my local (30 miles away) shop. Said they had to order it, it would take 3 weeks, and cost $45! I wanted to vomit. But didn't. I ordered the pane and fumed all the way home. The very next day I was putting together my large front window, and dropped and broke the very last Jalousie pane I was putting in..... SO, now that I know I was grossly overcharged for the first one, I'll be taking this one to a few other glass shops on a 5 hour road trip I have coming up and hoping to find a shop along the way to cut and polish it for me.
On another note, I have a stack of 5 that were found as spares in my 1962 Mobile Scout I'm trying to sell. I have pictures and measurements if anyone needs them. I'm sure packaging and shipping costs would be a deal killer though.
