My son wants to buy this trailer. We are in Canada. It’s a 1974 sprite. It’s aluminum and wood frame. I can see a tear in the front aluminum panel. I told him it will have some rot as they all do, and other issues and we will need to lift the skirts and check and do some repair. Anything else that anyone can see?

I like it too; depends on the price... My friend's Sprite was full of rot but this one would pry be an easy fix. Very cute!

It’s a pretty low price for here in Canada. Vintage trailers here of this type are about $6000 dollars. This one is half that. They have been looking for a while and they are so rare up here that when one comes up they are gone instantly. Even at 7-8 thousand. It’s ridiculous but new ultralight trailers are $15000. 00 up here, so I guess they can ask that much. I got my own vintage trailer in a bidding war by offering more than the other bidders. There were 25 people trying to get it.
What I personally like about this little trailer is it is basically original. No bad upgrades or tacky fixes to undo.
I’ll post some better photos if they buy it. It will be interesting to see how this style of siding comes off and how it is sealed.

What do I think? I think it’s adorable. It looks like the same size as a Compact, but the side kitchen allows for the two bunks up front. We saw one of these several years ago on a camping trip in BC, same vintage, but in great condition. I’m not usually a 70s fan, but it was pristine and just beautiful. If the price is right and he’s willing to put the work into it, heck, why not!

That seam below the tail lights is something that I haven't seen before, the way it wraps around the side (4th photo).
I'd jump on it. Looks reasonably clean and complete.

They bought it. Sent brother in-law to check it out. He said it’s perfect lol. I’m sure it has some issues, but the price was right and they are very hard to come by here in Canada. They will pick it up in a couple of weeks and then it will come to my house for inspection and repair work

Yay! Will be fun to see repair shots of something we don't see much of around here.
