had to tear out all the interior paneling fix several areas where the framing had been cut to fit a fridge that didn't belong in it, rebuild the front end fixed a few cross bars in the ceiling, fix some holes in the roof, then new interior paneling, flooring, paint, plumbing, gas lines, new wiring, new lights, reupholster the cushions, rebuilt one side of the dinette that had burned in a fire. it was fun. I have to sell a tiny house I built then build another for a client and then I will be looking for another camper to restore. Purchase price $1000 Sold for $4500 Probably had $2000 in materials I plan on doing it again but need to get better and faster and sell for more. camper by Jeremy Lee, on Flickr

I have a question. Since your thread says "sold. My first trailer" and not finished my first trailer. Please fill in the blank and tell the forum how much you sold it for. That way I will not sit here waiting for the rest of the story. Also do you think that worked out for you to do all that work for the price? Thanks, nice pictures.

...do you think that worked out for you to do all that work for the price? I hope jynx made a bundle but in most cases we don't even make minimum wage.
As I've said before, if I work all day on a camper I can pay for a fast food lunch. But I can't take my wife because I didn't make enough for both of us to eat lunch.

Thanks for the suggestions, I added the info to the first post. I spent a lot of time just getting the photos loaded because it's been a while since I used the forum. I have video of the tear down and some of the rebuild I want to make into video for youtube if I can figure that out.

jynx Did you remove the exterior siding and roof? I didn't, we had a budget on it and I didn't want to take the siding off and put it back on if I wasn't replacing it. I had it gutted inside though so I could make sure the frame was repaired where it needed to be.
