WHY? Just because it one if. Back in 1987, I owned very similar vehicle with a 1953 Chrysler front clip. I then sold to a car museum. (To me that was a good reason , hope it is sill there)

Found a few more photos of it so it appears it was very real.
Ugly isn't a strong enough word.... but I get it. It's fun to create something no one else has done. However I would prefer it look good if I am going to put that much effort into it.
Reminds me the Spartan Mansion placed on a Ford Truck chassis on Craigslist a while back. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Creativity . The front wheel drive 455 could cruise over a mountain welded to that trailer frame. Not to mention 4 wheel disc brakes, And being able to pull a trailer. Bet it gets more of a group asking questions about it than a cookie cutter camping trailer. Thanks for sharing the picture to encourage and acknowledge creativity.

Down here in the South we have a couple sayings that would fit this RV. The first one is used a lot when you see an ugly baby but you still want to be nice, (well isn't that something). The second one is used as a positive, or a negative, so weather you want to be sweet or condescending. (bless your heart). Debra

All that is missing is the wings!!!
Something to look out for in the future is a dissimilar metal issue....Aluminum trailer skin, steel automotive skin.... Is that front clip an Oldsmobile? Or maybe Pontiac? Looks like an Airstream Bambi got butchered for this project.

Oldsmobile Toronado, front wheel drive so it made the conversion easy......easier.
