One of the truest statements we can repeat every time we see this is, someone who thinks they know everything can’t learn anything. The rest of us know that there is always something new we can learn. A day I learn nothing is a waste day. So thank you all for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. Some people like to learn new things. I’m just another lifelong learner.
As for the kids today it all comes down to how they were raised I know some good ones and I also know a lot not worth a plugged nickel as my grandma always said. Those are the ones who never saw the wood shead growing up, and integrity can’t be thought by someone who doesn’t have it. Integrity is doing what’s right when no one is watching. There are a lot of people who can’t do the right thing when people are watching. I have seen this so often and it’s sad.

I have finally learned to just keep my mouth shut "keyboard" when it come to people "restoring" campers online "like facebook groups". There is one now trying to do a Scotty wrap from the inside and insist that it can be done "he has done it before"....the curbing is all rotted too......says he has even pieced in patches in the Scotty walls before. SMH  AND people are asking HIM for pointers......good Lord....I give up. Face Book.... LOL! What a waste of your precious time! And you know there are hundreds, maybe thousands of strangers who are mining your information. May as well walk around with a target on your forehead. |

I don't subscribe to Facebook, when you are associated with a premier site such as VTT who needs the know-it-alls touting the patch it and flip misinformation, it's really sad how so many people fall victim these people telling them you don't need to do it correctly. Danny

I don't subscribe to Facebook, when you are associated with a premier site such as VTT who needs the know-it-alls touting the patch it and flip misinformation, it's really sad how so many people fall victim these people telling them you don't need to do it correctly. Danny You are correct. I got told I was making stupid remarks for telling someone they need to fix the rot from the outside. He wanted to make out like I was the bad guy because he had done it before. Thank the Lord that he is on the left coast and I don't have to worry about any of his fixed trailers are anywhere near me. |

We’ll just keep alert while on the highways and byways for vintage trailers that have great paint jobs and look a little off-kilter. Even here in the Evergreen State we have an adequate supply of yahoos. I think it’s because they forget to knock the moss out from between their ears every spring. |
