Last night we moved my trailer to its new location. We waited until 1:00 a.m so there would be very little traffic. I added some cross bracing around the trailer with 1x2 strapping and brad nails to provide extra stability during the move and mimic the job of the skin to hold everything in place. I was a little nervous as I have put so much work into this old girl, but she arrived safely at her new destination. I am working on getting her re-levelled and then will take the strapping off after a couple of days. You can see here how bright and spacious her new home is. Next time she leaves home she will be skinned and ready for paint!

Ladywendolyn, I am in the same predicament. I accidentally sold my house (Long story) which had a 30' x 40' shop. Although I am a few steps ahead of you, I still had to move my trailer across town to a single car garage to finish it up. This has been a 4, going on 5, year complete rebuild. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just need to install windows and doors, but will have to move it outside due to no room to walk around it. Keep up the good work. An Inspirational move! Now I have the urge to build a shop. No room in my yard at this house. BUT there is across the street at my other house. Called excavator and concrete guys this week. Pricing buildings now.

Hamlet is suffering from a severe case of garage/workshop envy.
