So I know there are tons of stuff on here about painting and I saw the $200 paint job post which was really good. I cannot spray as I do not have the resources nor the space to do so. I plan on rolling. I have seen a few people post about the ace rust stop paint however it says not for automobiles so I was not sure if that would apply to campers. The link is below. has anyone used this? If so what are your thoughts? Are there any other paints that you would recommend that can be bought from Ace or Lowes or HD (places like that) www.acehardware.com/departments/paint-and-supplies/specialty-paints/rust-prevention/16753

Search the $50 paint job on Google. Standard rustoleum enamel can be thinned and rolled to a very nice finish. I sprayed valspar tractor paint but I also brushed it on my propane tank and it leveled out nicely

On the topic.....Has anyone tried the tractor, truck and implement paint from Tractor Supply? Also, does anyone know if it can be tinted? A gentleman seeing me purchase it claimed it was good paint and said he worked at a body shop and didn't know why it couldn't be tinted....Thoughts IMG_20180803_102623818_LL by KamHawk, on Flickr IMG_20180803_102648209_LL by KamHawk, on Flickr

You can tint this with only the same kind of chemical makeup paint. If you have access to the other colors made by this company, you can tint with them as long as it is the same series of paint. I really like the fact that it has a hardener. This really ups the quality of paint. DO NOT OVER CATALYZE! Use the ratio exactly as stated. If you over catalyze, it will not harden properly and remain soft. IMG_20180803_102623818_LL by KamHawk, on Flickr IMG_20180803_102648209_LL by KamHawk, on Flickr

So in theory, if I take Ford blue and John Deere green (from this brand), I can mix with the white to make the Scotty blue I'm looking for
