....you may need new springs. Our friend Teachndad was questioning my springs as part of my bouncy tow issue. To be honest, I'm still blaming the truck for most of my issues as it no longer tows level with the drop bar I bought due to rear sag. Check out this video and tell me if you think pushing forcefully on the top of the trailer should create this much movement. The springs themselves seem arched ok and I brushed them of rust and greased the shackles a year or two ago. youtu.be/YTrnHTT164M

I would think you have to much bounce. Reminds me of a car with bad shocks. But the video is a bit hard to tell from for sure.

That's a lot more bounce than I've ever
had. Almost like the springs don't have enough leafs.

You guys ever had a short trailer? This one's 13 foot with a 10 foot box. I'm wondering if lighter trailers have more spring which shows when you push them hard from the very top?

That looks about the same as mine, I plan on replacing them. They look solid and not distorted but the bounce is to much. I think I found some generic trailer sets on eBay for less than $100 but I havnt measured mine yet to see which ones I actually need.

Actually your springs look practically flat to me. I'm wondering if they have lost their resistance and have just become weak. I'm used to seeing more arch than you have in that picture. Try having someone else 'rock the boat' while you are down where you can watch the spring action.

It was used as an office and playhouse for decades (actually, that's still it's main use) without any jacks. The tongue was actually bent and broken from the in-out, so maybe the springs are also flat. Actually your springs look practically flat to me.
