I just installed a WFCO converter. All the AC and DC works fine EXCEPT that when I disconnect the shore power, the 12VDC turns off also. The battery is brand new and fully charged. Why am I not getting 12VDC to my 12V fixtures?

Check your connections. You're not getting battery power when the converter is off. Be sure the battery is grounded to the frame and at the converter. All of the circuit grounds should be at the converter as well. The converter should also be grounded to the frame. (some require a separate ground but it shouldn't keep anything from working).
Once you are sure the battery is connected properly, try the 12 volt again. With the converter off, you should get 12 volts on your meter at the battery/converter connection. If there is no 12 volts, check your circuit breaker if there is one. If there IS 12 volts, the system should work without being plugged in.
Sometimes the converter has fuses, be sure they are OK. Let us know how you do.
